Diocesan Fees

A quality Catholic education is affordable and accessible for every family!

Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) is committed to providing an affordable quality Catholic education for families. We understand the financial demands placed on household budgets and do everything we can to keep fees low.

No child who meets the enrolment criteria will be refused enrolment or disadvantaged because of a family’s financial circumstance.

School fees are generally billed in instalments during Terms 1, 2 and 3. The fee is made up of three main parts:


Annual Diocesan Tuition Fees

These are set by Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta and are the same for every school.

There are significant sibling discounts for families with more than one child at one of our schools.




Diocesan Building Levy

This is set by Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta and is the same for every school.

There is only one Diocesan building levy per family.




School-Based Fees

These are determined by the school according to our needs and are billable for each child.

These fees help cover costs of things like teaching resources, technology, excursions etc.

Flexible payment options

Families enrolled in CEDP schools are offered flexible payment options at the start of each year. These options provide opportunities to select a payment plan that best suits you. Payments can be made by direct debit or BPay on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis at no additional charge.


Fee assistance

We understand financial circumstances can change and that these changes can impact on families. Please speak with your school principal confidentially if your family experiences financial difficulty or hardship so an appropriate arrangement can be made.

Our Lady of the Rosary School-based Fees - 2018

Resource fee

Resource fees are payable once a year in Term 1. The current fee is $129.00 and provides for all books and learning materials. Any Kindergarten 2018 and new enrolments will automatically have their $100.00 enrolment fee deducted from their school fees.


Special Programs and Events Fee

The special projects and events fee will be charged as follows:

 Kinder $108.00 per year, divided into 3 payments of $36.00 for Terms 1, 2 and 3.
 Year 1  $123.00 per year, divided into 3 payments of $41.00 for Terms 1, 2 & 3.
 Year 2  $234.00 per year, divided into 3 payments of $78.00 for Terms 1, 2 & 3.
 Years 3-4  $222.00 per year, divided into 3 payments of $74.00 for Terms 1, 2 & 3.
 Years 5-6  $105.00 per year, divided into 3 payments of $38.00 for Terms 1, 2 & 3.


The learning programs included in this fee are:

 Yrs K-6 Gymnastics Program - $33  Don Bosco $12 (3 visits per year)
 Camp Quality Puppet Show - FREE  Life Ed - $10
 Book Week Author/Illustration Visit - $6  PBS4L Show/Play/Incursion - $5
 Kinder, Yrs 1 & 2 only: Ditto Show - $6  Kinder only: Living Eggs - $6
 Year 1 Only: Science Fizzics - $15  Year 1 only:  Butterfly Adventures - $6
 Year 2 Only:  Science Fizzics - $15  Yrs 3-6 only:  Athletics Carnival - $6
 Years 2, 3 & 4 Only: Swimming & Water Safety Program - $117.00

 Grade Excursions - $30.00   (For Years 5 & 6 this is a deposit for Camp. Overnight excursions will be charged separately)


Financial hardship

From time to time, most families find that the cost of living and bringing up their families stretches their income to the limit. 

If you are experiencing any difficulty regarding the payment of school fees, please make an appointment with the Principal.

Payment of fees

Payment of school fees can be via an envelope to the office as detailed above or the school office has eftpos facilities available for use in office hours.

As well as the above, school fees can now be paid at any Post Office or via BPAY by following the instructions on the bottom of your statement.
