Parental Involvement

How can I become involved in the school?

At Our Lady of the Rosary, parents are acknowledged as the first and foremost educators of their children, and are welcome to become involved in the life of the school.

Parent involvement opportunities include:

  • the Parents’ Association
  • swimming/athletics carnivals
  • sporting events
  • school excursions
  • liturgies
  • assisting in class across any curriculum area, including reading support
  • fundraising
  • the school fete

We look forward to working with parents in the education, care and support of their children. It is important to note that all volunteer workers in schools are required to undergo child protection training. Visit the Parramatta Catholic Education Office website 'Building Child Safe Communities' for more information.
